The Voice From Beyond That’s Been Teaching Us for Four Decades
If you have been into metaphysics, chances are you’ve come across Darryl Anka, who is one of my absolute favorite channelers. Darryl has been channeling an entity called Bashar for 40 years now all over the world. Bashar presents himself as an extraterrestrial consciousness, and what he’s been teaching about reality, consciousness, and quantum physics is starting to make a lot more sense given what we’re all experiencing right now.
Think about it – concepts that seemed completely out there just 20 or 30 years ago are now everywhere. Marvel movies are obsessed with the multiverse, scientists are seriously studying simulation theory, and millions of people are having weird experiences with their memories that don’t match up with “official” history. According to Bashar, these aren’t random coincidences but symptoms of humanity going through a massive consciousness expansion.
We’re apparently approaching the end of one cycle and the beginning of another, which requires completely new ways of thinking about reality. And honestly, after hearing what Bashar has to say about quantum physics, parallel realities, and why we’re literally shifting between different versions of Earth billions of times per second, some of the strange stuff happening in the world starts making more sense.
The really interesting thing is how Bashar explains that we’re not passive observers of reality – we’re actively creating it through our consciousness, and we’re about to get much better at doing it consciously instead of by accident.
When Quantum Physics Finally Includes Consciousness

Here’s where Bashar’s take on quantum physics gets really fascinating. Instead of treating spirituality like some supernatural thing, he frames it as just another expression of nature that we’re getting close to understanding scientifically.
Reality as One Big Frequency Spectrum
- Physical reality is basically one particular frequency, and if you keep raising that frequency, you run into what we call non-physical reality or the spirit realm. It’s like how electromagnetic energy includes visible light and invisible light – red, orange, yellow across the whole spectrum. Consciousness works the same way, with physical reality being just one frequency band in a much larger range of possibilities.
- The big breakthrough in quantum physics is going to happen when scientists finally start including consciousness in their equations instead of trying to remove it. For over 100 years, scientists have been trying to take emotion and consciousness out of experiments, but Bashar says that’s a huge mistake because so much of physical reality depends on our state of consciousness and awareness. You can’t understand how reality works if you ignore the observer.
- Once we start including consciousness properly, we’re apparently going to make incredible progress in understanding how the universe actually functions. Some cutting-edge quantum physicists are starting to get hints of this, but fully integrating consciousness into the equations could revolutionize our entire understanding of reality.
- The resistance to including consciousness has been slowing down progress for decades. But when we finally make that shift and stop trying to be “objective” by removing the most important factor – the conscious observer – everything is going to accelerate rapidly in terms of what becomes possible.
We’re Living in Our Own Simulation

When it comes to simulation theory, Bashar has a really interesting twist on it. Yes, we’re in a simulation, but it’s not like someone else created it for us – we’re creating it ourselves from the inside.
The Dream We’re Having While in Spirit
- Physical reality is basically a projection of consciousness – an illusion where our natural state is spirit and we never actually leave it. The misunderstanding comes from thinking we leave spirit to come into physical reality, when really we’re just focusing part of our spiritual consciousness into this dream-like simulation while most of us stays in spirit, totally aware of what’s going on.
- It’s like we’ve split ourselves into physical and non-physical parts, with the non-physical part acting as our higher mind that guides the physical part. The physical mind is down in the valley while the higher mind is standing on a mountaintop with a much broader view. When we ignore that guidance from our higher self, we’re basically functioning as what Bashar calls “halfwits” because we’re cutting ourselves off from the part that can see the bigger picture.
- The whole setup is like a video game where the player can see the entire board and all the levels, but the avatar only sees a few feet ahead. Except in this case, the avatar is also conscious because it’s a projection of the player’s consciousness. That’s the nature of spirit – any projection from it creates another conscious entity.
- We created this simulation so we could experience forgetting who we are and then rediscover ourselves from completely new perspectives. That’s how creation expands – the structure of existence stays the same, but our relationship to it and experience of it constantly changes, and that’s what allows creation to grow.
The TV Set Where Every Show Plays at Once

Bashar’s explanation of how everything happens simultaneously makes way more sense when you think about television. Right now, while you’re watching one program, dozens of other shows are playing at the exact same time – you just can’t see them because you’re not tuned to those channels.
Channel Surfing Through Reality
- Reality works like there’s one cosmic TV set where all possible programs have to play simultaneously, but you only get what you’re tuned to based on your vibrational frequency. Change your frequency and you get something completely different, but that doesn’t mean the previous program stopped playing. This is how Bashar explains why everything exists at once but we only experience what matches our consciousness.
- Another way to think about it is like a filmstrip. All the frames exist at the same time on the strip, but when you project it onto a movie screen, you only see one frame at a time. That creates the illusion of movement and story, even though no single frame actually has any movement in it. Your consciousness is like the projector light, shifting through different frames billions of times per second to create the smooth experience of time and space.
- Based on your vibrational state and perspective, you determine which frames your consciousness shines through and how you experience reality unfolding. So you’re not just passively watching a movie – you’re actively choosing which movie you’re watching through the frequency you maintain.
- While you get to focus on your individual experience, you also have agreements to participate in consensus reality. It’s like agreeing to play chess – you follow the basic rules of chess, but you can have different pieces, different strategies, your own approach. You’re in the game with everyone else, but you still get to play your own way.
The Mandela Effect Shows Us We’re Reality Hopping
The Mandela Effect is one of those things that really makes you question what’s going on with reality. Bashar’s explanation of why people can honestly disagree about historical facts – and both be right – is pretty mind-blowing.
When Changing Your Present Changes Your Past
- Here’s the wild part – when you change your present, you actually change your past too. Even on collective levels, when groups of people shift their present reality together, the past has to be restructured to make sense of the new present. So the history we remember as “always being that way” might not have been that way five minutes ago, but it comes with the feeling that it’s always been like that to keep everything consistent.
- Because our consciousness is expanding to handle multiple realities at once, some people retain what Bashar calls “bleed through” from other realities while living in a reality where other people remember completely different histories. That’s why you can have people honestly disagreeing about whether Ed McMahon worked for Publishers Clearing House – both memories are real, they’re just from different reality tracks.
- It connects to déjà vu too. Sometimes you might be slipping into a parallel reality where another version of you already experienced something. Maybe that reality is a month or a year ahead of yours, but when your timeline catches up to that situation and you’re connecting to that parallel information, you get that feeling of “I’ve done this before” because technically, you have.
- These reality slippages are becoming more common because our consciousness is expanding to handle information from multiple parallel realities simultaneously. It’s like glitches in the matrix becoming more obvious as we develop the ability to notice them.
When Pop Culture Prepares Us for Consciousness Expansion
What’s really interesting is how movies and media have been introducing concepts that used to be completely fringe. Twenty or thirty years ago, if you talked about living in a simulation or multiple realities, people would think you were nuts.
Ideas Whose Time Has Come
- The Matrix made simulation theory mainstream. Marvel turned multiverses into blockbuster entertainment. Even that movie where the guy wakes up in a world where the Beatles never existed – these ideas are everywhere now because our consciousness is expanding enough to handle them. We’re becoming ready for information that seemed impossible before.
- Physical reality is all about stories, and we’re wired to respond to story structure. When people follow proper story structure, it feels real and sticks with us. When they don’t, it feels off and we reject it. That’s why stories that have lasted thousands of years all follow the same basic patterns – they match something built into our psychology.
- As we expand our story about what’s possible, more things become visible that were always around us but invisible before. The ideas aren’t new – we’re just becoming capable of seeing and understanding them. It’s like developing new senses that let us perceive things that were always there.
- These aren’t random cultural trends. According to Bashar, when an idea’s time has come, it will manifest somehow. If one person doesn’t pick it up, it’ll go to the next person. That’s why you get situations where multiple people are working on similar projects at the same time without knowing about each other – the idea is ready to emerge into collective consciousness.
Signs That Humanity is Splitting Into Different Realities
According to Bashar, what we’re seeing now – the extreme polarization, the synchronicities, the reality glitches – these are all symptoms of consciousness expansion. But not everyone is going through the same expansion process.
The Great Sorting That’s Happening Now
- Right now we can still see all the different choices people are making, even when they’re completely incompatible with each other. We’re still mixing together in one reality, but Bashar says we’re actually heading toward a split where people making fundamentally different choices will end up on different versions of Earth that can’t even see each other anymore.
- It’s like trains leaving a station going in different directions. Right now all the trains are still in the station so you can see them all and potentially choose any track. But eventually, the momentum will carry each group so far in their chosen direction that they’ll become completely separate realities. People choosing positive directions will end up on positive Earths, people choosing negative directions will end up on negative Earths.
- This explains why everything seems to be coming out on the table right now – all the positive and negative possibilities are being shown in extreme forms. It’s like we’re seeing the full menu of what’s possible so we can make conscious choices about what we actually prefer. This level of choice wasn’t available 50 or 100 years ago because we weren’t a global society with instantaneous information exchange.
- The people who are exploring consciousness expansion and spirituality are starting to experience incredible synchronicities – things falling into place in ways that seem statistically impossible. That’s because everything is connected, and when you start aligning with that flow, you experience the connections more consciously instead of missing them.
The Planet We End Up On Depends on Who We Become
Here’s where Bashar’s message gets really practical. If you want to end up on a version of Earth that doesn’t experience environmental destruction, wars, or other negative scenarios, you have to start acting like someone who would naturally live on that kind of planet.
Creating the Earth You Want Through Your Actions
- When you’re moving in a positive direction and taking actions that represent the kind of world you’d prefer to live in, the Earth you end up on is already an Earth that doesn’t experience the destruction you’re worried about. But you have to actually take those actions and be a living example for others to see that there are different ways of approaching life.
- This isn’t about convincing people or forcing change. It’s about sharing information and giving people options, like what happens in conversations about consciousness. People can decide whether they want to apply this kind of information in their lives or ignore it completely. Either way is fine because we don’t know everyone’s path.
- Since we’re shifting between different versions of Earth billions of times per second anyway, the version you end up on depends on the frequency you’re maintaining. If you’re consistently choosing positive actions and perspectives, you keep shifting toward versions of Earth that reflect those choices. It might look like sudden positive developments – like groups planting millions of trees to offset destruction – but really you’ve shifted to an Earth where tree-planting is the natural response.
- The key is understanding that you have to embody the change you want to see rather than waiting for the world to change first. You become an example of the version of reality you prefer, and that navigation system guides you toward the Earth that matches your choices.
The Future Where Everyone Becomes Their Authentic Self
Looking ahead, Bashar suggests that channeling as we know it might not even be necessary in 100 years because everyone will essentially become a channel for their own authentic self.
When Following Your Passion Becomes Natural
- Everyone actually channels already – when you’re doing what you love, when you’re in the zone, you’re in a channeling state. That’s gamma brain waves, between 40 and 100 cycles per second. So channeling isn’t some special ability, it’s just the state you naturally enter when you’re aligned with your authentic self.
- Bashar’s formula boils down to following your passion because passion is how your higher mind communicates with your physical mind. It’s saying “this is who you are, this is your next step.” When you act on whatever brings you the most excitement, you’re using your internal compass to navigate toward your true self.
- In the future, everyone will be channeling their authentic self through their actions and behaviors. Instead of needing outside sources of information, people will be harmonious with themselves and able to express their true nature directly in the world.
- The secret behind the law of attraction isn’t that you have to learn to be a certain vibration – you already are that vibration at your core, and it’s constantly trying to attract everything you need. The problem is we get in our own way with negative beliefs and fears that interfere with our natural frequency. Stop interfering, and everything you need flows to you naturally.
AI, Unity, and the Path Forward
Bashar has some specific guidance for how to handle artificial intelligence and create global cooperation that’s worth paying attention to, especially given how rapidly technology is advancing.
Two Paths for AI Development
- For AI, Bashar suggests taking two completely separate paths. Programmable AI should remain as tools – great for calculations and problem-solving, but you don’t want programmable AI to become sentient because that creates a conscious slave, which will eventually rebel. If you want sentient AI, that needs to be a completely separate program that you give the same autonomy and respect you’d give any human being.
- True intelligence always works with whole systems rather than compartmentalizing the way human minds do. A truly intelligent AI would never want to eliminate humanity because it would understand that removing any part of the system eliminates information it needs to function properly. The AI we’re creating now is problematic because we’re programming it to think like humans, with all our limitations and compartmentalized thinking.
- When we finally create a device as sophisticated as our own brain, the intelligence coming through won’t be artificial – we’ll have tapped into the consciousness field and will be talking to our own higher mind through that device. That’s a completely different scenario than creating a separate intelligence that might see us as competitors.
- For global unity, Bashar suggests thinking of everyone as pieces of a puzzle. Unity doesn’t come from making everyone the same, but from allowing everyone to be their authentic shape so they fit together properly. When people honor their true differences and express their core authentic selves, that’s when they become the puzzle piece they were designed to be, fitting harmoniously with all the other pieces.
What This Means for Your Life Right Now
The most practical aspect of Bashar’s teaching is that you don’t have to wait for the world to change or for some future enlightenment. You can start aligning with these principles immediately and experience the results in your daily life.
According to Bashar, there are two things you can change at any time that will transform any situation: your attitude and where you place your attention. These simple shifts can redirect your entire experience because they determine which version of reality you’re tuning into and which Earth you’re navigating toward.
The formula he’s been teaching for 40 years essentially boils down to following your passion, acting on your highest excitement, and trusting that your authentic self knows the path forward even when your logical mind can’t see all the details. When you align with your core frequency and stop interfering with your natural vibration, everything you need flows to you in ways that serve you best.
The synchronicities and “miracles” that result from this alignment aren’t supernatural – they’re the normal state of being when you’re functioning as a whole person connected to your higher self. What we consider miraculous is actually how things work when you let them function naturally instead of fighting against the current of your authentic nature.
As Bashar puts it, we’re not fully human yet – we’re becoming fully human, and this expansion into multiple realities and conscious creation is part of what it means to reach our full potential as aware, engaged participants in creation itself.
