- Age restoration to the 30s – John watched an elderly man who died of a heart attack physically transform back to his 30s during orientation. Nobody explained why 30s specifically, though John wondered if it connected to Jesus’s age at death.
- The reunion gardens – After orientation, souls step down into the most beautiful English gardens imaginable with emerald green grass, where everyone they’ve ever known – family, friends, loved ones from all lifetimes – wait to welcome them home. Coming back from Earth is “a huge deal” because this planet is considered the hardest of all learning environments.
The Life Review: Your Personal Movie Theater
Rather than judgment, the life review happens in a massive circular theater with movie screens surrounding you at the top. Every screen simultaneously plays different aspects of your life from birth to death – one showing you as a newborn, another your first day of school, continuing through every significant moment. The purpose isn’t punishment but evaluation: did you accomplish what you planned to learn before incarnating? Because according to John’s guide Alan, “none of us are accidents – we all actually plan our lifetimes.”
Past Lives Are Real: The Eternal Learning Journey
Though raised Catholic, John was shown three of his previous lifetimes to prove reincarnation exists:
- A Buddhist-style monk teaching children about monastery life
- A village shoe peddler fixing people’s footwear
- A fisherman providing food for his community through net fishing

The building also housed an enormous library of maroon books with gold lettering containing complete records of every soul’s lifetimes and learning experiences. John’s soulmate’s name was revealed as “Nina,” though he learned most souls don’t incarnate with their perfect eternal partners because we learn more through challenging relationships than perfect harmony.
The Cosmic Perspective: Millions of Inhabited Worlds
In a planetarium larger than any Earth stadium, John received a mind-expanding revelation about life in the universe:
- Human perspective vs. cosmic reality – When humans look at stars, we see a limited view. From the other side’s perspective, there are millions and millions of inhabited planets throughout the universe.
- Multi-planetary incarnations – Souls can choose lifetimes on any of these worlds, not just Earth. Our planet is simply one option in an infinite cosmic classroom.
- Earth’s unique reputation – Among all inhabited worlds, Earth is considered the most challenging learning environment, which is why returning from an Earth lifetime is celebrated as a major achievement.
The Universal Library: All Knowledge and History
The most spectacular building resembled the U.S. Supreme Court with massive marble columns and steps. Inside, John found the ultimate library with 30-40 foot bookcases stretching endlessly, filled with beings studying at tables and searching for knowledge.
The most remarkable discovery was private study rooms where souls could watch any historical event as it actually happened – even events from before recording technology existed. John witnessed a woman watching a Native American battle with the U.S. Cavalry in perfect detail. Everything that has ever occurred is somehow recorded and available for study, demonstrating that learning and growth continue eternally.
Inspiration Flows Downward: Heaven’s Blueprints for Earth
When John questioned why everything looked familiar with earthly references, his guide revealed a profound truth: everything on Earth originated on the other side first. The pyramids, Greek and Roman architecture, even modern concepts like libraries and theaters – all were inspired by structures that existed in the spiritual realm before manifesting on Earth.
This explains why certain architectural and artistic achievements seem to transcend their time periods – they’re soul memories of our true home bleeding through into physical creation.
Soulmates and Perfect Love
Soulmates are real – each soul was created with an eternal perfect companion. However, these divine partnerships rarely incarnate together because we learn more from challenging relationships than perfect harmony. In the final moment of his experience, John found himself alone in a wildflower field when a figure in white robes with golden sandals appeared. Though he couldn’t see the face due to intense light radiating from the being, John knew this was Jesus. The message was simple but profound: “You must tell them there is no death.”
This wasn’t a request but a command, explaining why John received perfect recall while most NDEers forget details over time.
